Barnet Council is encouraging the owners of empty properties to attend drop-in sessions during Empty Property Week to help bring them back into use.
The first will be held in-person at its offices in 2 Bristol Avenue, London NW9 4EW, from 9.30am-12noon on Monday 24 November. The second will be online via Microsoft Teams from 5-7pm on Thursday 27 November. Guests can register by emailing empty.properties@barnet.gov.uk.
Barnet Council can help landlords bring their empty property back into use in a variety of ways, including renovation, conversion, demolition and rebuild and conversion of commercial units, using grants of up to £40,000. Bumblebee then manage the property on an owner’s behalf, offering guaranteed rent even if it is temporarily empty or the tenant fails to pay their rent.
Barnet’s Empty Property Week will run from Monday 24 November to Sunday 30 November. For more information, visit: www.barnet.gov.uk/emptyproperties
