In our first Resident Board meeting of the year, we covered key updates on the Repairs Improvement Plan. The Barnet Homes Resident Board continues to closely monitor the service’s repairs area as this may improve some of our residents’ challenges. The Repairs
Improvement Plan is progressing well, focusing on improving efficiency and addressing
trade gaps despite the current challenges, such as system issues. Still, it has positively
impacted tenant satisfaction, according to the transactional satisfaction surveys completed
after their repair.
Customer Care training was provided to operatives during the December Toolbox Talk (TBT)
session. The training aimed to enhance service delivery by equipping staff with the skills to
meet diverse resident needs and improve overall customer experience.
The Repairs Priority Group continues its work, with residents who recently experienced
leaks, invited to share their experiences and help improve the response to such issues.
Additionally, we are very excited to announce four new members to our board, Deborah Jones, Donna Modesté, Melanie Sarthal and Simone Doe.
As members of the Resident Board, we understand the importance of having a diverse and dedicated team to represent the interests of our community. Therefore, we are actively looking for new volunteers passionate about making a positive impact.
