The aim of our Sheltered Housing schemes is to support elderly residents to maintain as independent a life as possible – at the same time not becoming isolated.
This is why our Sheltered Housing team help residents to keep active and connected with the community-at-large by organising a year-round roster of events.
Sheltered Housing residents really love a social event, which meant there was a good turnout for the annual Easter Party, this year held at Drummond House.
Entertainment-wise, crooners from the Mickey Driver Entertainment Company tend to be very popular. This time, 50s sweetheart Annie Riley provided song and dance from the 50s, 60s and 70s which went down a treat with our residents.
There was even afternoon tea to go with the Easter theme.
We would like to thank all our contractors WG Wigginton, Mears, Vallectric and Associated Laundry Systems for making generous contributions to the event, which make events like this possible. It makes all the difference to our elderly residents.
