Barnet Homes are aware of a number of incidents where bogus callers have tried to gain access to properties, stating they are the part of the Barnet Homes repairs team.

Barnet Homes’ repairs are carried out by subcontractor Mears, and all Mears Staff will be carrying official I.D. stating their name and phone number, which you can call if you are in doubt of the identity of the person knocking at your door.

All Barnet Homes staff will also be wearing valid I.D..
