Barnet Homes have have recently commissioned a contractor Vallectric, to currently to do electrical replacement work and work on the communal lighting at the Grange Estate.
Genuine Vallectric engineers will all be carrying official I.D stating their name and phone number, which you can call if you are in doubt of the identity of the person knocking at your door.
This afternoon we had reports that three white males attempted to gain access to a property on the Grange using Valletric letter-headed paper, which are posted on the communal noticeboard. Please be advised, this is not official identification, so please do not let them in.
On this occasion, Fortunately the elderly resident’s son was at home and they did not gain access the police were informed and were given a description.
