From 1 April three companies start new contracts to manage gas and repairs for residents on behalf of Barnet Homes.
As with all large contract procurement exercises, Barnet Homes also worked closely with resident representatives from our Performance Advisory Group (PAG) to make sure all Barnet Homes residents were represented in the selection and mobilisation process.
Barnet Homes Chief Executive, Tracey Lees, said: “We’re excited about the new contracts. We believe that residents will benefit greatly from improved customer service, and we’ll continue to involve tenants in checking that the contractors meet the high standards expected of them, which is why our Performance Advisory Group was so heavily involved in the selection process.”
Our residents who have individual gas heating systems will have gas servicing and repairs managed by Robert Heath. Family company Robert Heath is a specialist gas heating company and they specialise in domestic gas heating work.
Our residents who live in blocks and communal residences will see their communal boilers, ventilation fans and pumps managed by commercial gas contractors T Brown Group, who also start a new contract with Barnet Homes this week. Robert Heath will however provide the annual servicing of gas appliances to residents.
Established for 30 years, T Brown already has a relationship with Barnet Homes managingGrahamePark’s district heating system. The service team will now be expanded to meet the extra demands.
Gas Advisory Services have been appointed to oversee the quality of work carried out by Robert Heath and T Brown.
