It is a requirement under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, for Social Housing providers to carry out Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) to the communal areas within residential buildings that it manages
The Barnet Group maintain robust FRA programme on the common parts of all residential properties that it manages or maintains. These FRAs will identify the measures that need to be taken to comply with the relevant statutory provisions or recommendations as to how fire safety measures within the building could be provided that exceed statutory provisions.
FRAs are carried out by a competent and accredited specialist assessor at the below frequency unless risk dictates that a more regular inspection is required:
Property Type |

Sheltered Housing Units and Extra Care schemes |
