Our Asset Management team have successfully completed the latest phase of the Stock Condition Survey Programme undertaken by Savills. Savills completed 3,064 surveys of building components such
as doors, windows, roofs and more. These stock condition surveys were carried out between August 2024 to February 2025. In the past 5 years we have carried out stock condition surveys to over 8,171 properties.
We’re currently in the process of putting together the next phase. If you have received a letter from Savills relating to stock condition surveys, it is very important that you allow access for the completion of this survey.
This survey enables us to gather evidence to understand the present condition of your home. This information then helps us decide future planned maintenance works. In the near future there will be a new contractor who will undertake these surveys on behalf of Barnet Homes by July 2025.
Whilst undertaking stock condition surveys, Savills also provided risk and hazards data relating to health and safety elements. As part of the new consumer standards, we are required to maintain current and comprehensive information regarding our housing stock. Any relevant information and actions required are passed onto our teams such as Healthy Homes and Repairs to follow up on.
All operatives will wear ID badges, so please ask them to show you their ID. We appreciate your cooperation with allowing access to complete our surveys.
