Shout out to the team at WG Wigginton Ltd who are currently on site carrying out essential works at Your Choice Barnet extra care housing scheme Atholl House and have built a great relationship with the staff and residents. The team tided up the garden area by clearing litter and held a coffee morning and with the residents where they potted their own herbs and flowers to grow.
Alexandra Brooks, Social Value and Marketing Manager said “Community engagement is at the heart of what we do. Our team had a fantastic time at Atholl House, helping to bring residents together as well as helping to create a more enjoyable and sustainable green space. We will be planting these in in garden along with birdfeeders , and we’re also providing leftover compost for residents to use in their balcony gardens”.
The residents really enjoyed the planting session and will really benefit being outside in the garden as the weather gets warmer. Thank you to all involved.
