We are excited to offer you a range of free online training and development courses! Aimed to help support your personal development and career progression you will increase your knowledge and receive a nationally recognised qualification at the same time. All courses are delivered through a distance learning model so extremely flexible to undertake in the comfort of your own home.

We are able to provide this training through a new partnership with one of the UK’s leading private and public sector recruitment companies Morgan Hunt and education and training specialist Learning Curve.
Each course will allow you to:

- Achieve a nationally recognised Level 2 certificate
- Learn at a time that suits you without the need to attend college

Customer Services
8-10 weeks for 1-2 hours per week covering:
- The principles of customer service and delivery
- Understanding customers
- Understanding employer organisations
You will achieve a greater understanding to:
- Improve your understanding of how to successfully handle complaints
- Reduce the risk of complaints
Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care
6-8 weeks for, 1-2 hours per week covering:
- Principles of communication, personal development, safeguarding, protection, diversity, equality and inclusion
- Duty of Care (Introduction), Health and Safety and how to handle Information
- The role of the Social Care Worker and person-centred approaches
You will achieve a greater understanding of:
- How to handle hazardous substances and medication
- Learn at a time that suits you without the need to attend college
Retail Operations
8-10 weeks for 1-2 hours per week covering:
- Customer service, dealing with customer queries/complaints and selling process in retail
- How individuals/teams contribute to the effectiveness of a retail business
- Retail consumer law and how a retail business maintains Health and Safety
You will achieve a greater understanding to:
- Improve your handling of customer payments
- Improve how you deal with customer queries and complaints
Caring for Children and Young People
8-10 weeks, 1-2 hours per week covering:
- Caring for young children in a babysitting environment
- Accident prevention and fire safety when babysitting
- Rights and responsibilities in relation to parenting and healthy lifestyles
You will achieve a greater understanding of:
- the importance of correctly responding to evidence or concerns that a child or young person has been abused, harmed or bullied
