Since December 2017, our caretakers have been operating the new area caretaking service for residents. 

This means that caretakers can cover more estates in the same time span. They also have new branded vans which makes it easier for them to carry round the equipment needed to tackle jobs from estate to estate. Also, working in teams means less lone working for caretakers.

However, caretakers who cover Burnt Oak Broadway flats as part of their patch have not had a base to store their files, or have somewhere to sit when they have break times, for many months.

So it was with great delight on Friday, our Director of Corporate Services Trudi Kleanthous, declared the new base in the Burnt Oak estate open – and ready for caretakers to use. It was a great opportunity for her to speak to the caretaking team there who were very happy to have a base – particularly with the winter months coming soon.

They were joined by Scott Cartwright Senior Estate Services Manager and Rita Chudasama, Estate Services Manager.
