Last Saturday saw over 500 people have a great day out at the Grahame Park Fun Day Heybourne Park on Saturday.

The sun came out to shine on the volunteers and residents who were in great spirits, to enjoy an afternoon of fun, games and food. There was also the opportunity for residents to find out more about the regeneration of the Grahame Park estate.

Regeneration partners Genesis Housing and many other local organisations including Barnet Homes came along to create the Community Tent, providing fun, games and information.

As well as on-stage entertainment, there was bouncy castles and slides, crazy golf, sumo wrestling, vintage trucks from the RAF Museum, as well as police and fire engines, a food stall and community clothing stall, all of which was provided free of charge of the residents.

It was a great atmosphere and the residents and especially the kids enjoyed the day.
