#HousingDay is a day where everyone involved in social housing, staff, residents and partners share their personal experiences on Twitter – it’s the second housing ‘tweetathon’. The first #HousingDay in 2013 was such a success that it has become an annual event.
As part of Barnet Homes’ activities to showcase #HousingDay, digital storyteller John Popham will be visiting Barnet House on 11 November, while the bulk of events will be taking place the following day – on #HousingDay itself!
On Wednesday 12, staff are taking part in a ‘dress down day’ and holding a Barnet Bake off cake sale to raise money for local housing charity.
Throughout the day, members of our Senior Management Team are doing job-swaps which will see them take on front-line roles for the day. There will also be a series of ‘reality check’ visits to ensure repairs and the general upkeep of our Estates meet standards.
