Its Learning Disability Week this week and The Barnet Group Community Chest Fund sponsored our Your Choice Barnet- My Health Matters event at Community space in Edgware. Lots of professionals including the NHS Services and Mencap were there for a day of information on health checks, cancer checks, sexual health, healthy eating, being active and lots more.
There was a DJ so lots singing and dancing and a Quiz with prizes.
Attendees were treated to a lovely healthy lunch and a cake competition and to top things off an ice cream van.. All round informative and joyful day!
