In July 2025, Barnet Homes and Lovell Partnerships held a second public consultation event to update residents on proposals for the redevelopment of the northeastern section of the Grahame Park Estate. This event forms part of a wider programme of engagement to support the estate’s ongoing regeneration.
Held on Monday 21st July at Unit 15, The Concourse, Grahame Park, the event welcomed 49 attendees and displayed updated plans for new homes, green spaces, and community facilities. The consultation was publicised via flyers delivered to over 2,200 local households, alongside updates to the dedicated project website and an online feedback form.
Feedback was broadly positive. Attendees praised the landscape-led design, emphasis on green and play spaces, and the inclusion of sustainable, energy-efficient homes. The housing mix, including family-sized and accessible units, was also well received.
A key theme of the day was resident interest in the decant process. Many visitors sought discussions with Barnet Homes representatives to understand how potential relocation would be managed, highlighting the importance of continued, transparent communication throughout the planning process.
Concerns raised included potential building height impacts, construction disruption, and the need for clarity around housing tenure and community facilities. Sustainability, accessibility, safety, and inclusive public space design emerged as top priorities for residents.
Barnet Homes and Lovell Partnerships will continue to engage with the community as plans evolve, ensuring that local voices shape the future of Grahame Park Northeast.
