Thank you for your request, we have treated this as a Freedom of Information request. You have asked for the following information:
1) How many people applied to Barnet council as homeless under Part VII of the Housing Act 1996 citing the reason for homelessness as ‘domestic abuse’?
2) How many people who applied to Barnet council as homeless under Part VII of the Housing Act 1996 citing the reason for homelessness as ‘domestic abuse’ were accepted as being ‘priority need’?
3) How many people who applied to Barnet council as homeless under Part VII of the Housing Act 1996 citing the reason for homelessness as ‘domestic abuse’ were accepted as being statutorily homeless?
4) a) How many people accepted as statutorily homeless by Barnet council, citing the reason for homelessness as ‘domestic abuse’, were provided with emergency temporary accommodation?
- b) Of those people who received emergency temporary accommodation after being accepted as statutorily homeless by Barnet council on the grounds of ‘domestic abuse’, how many were provided with emergency temporary accommodation in Barnet?
