The Barnet Group has recently been developing a number of new housing-related strategies and policies on the behalf of and in collaboration with Barnet Council.
The council’s draft Housing Strategy, Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy, and Tenancy Strategy, as well as its Housing Allocations Scheme, will first be reviewed by the Housing and Growth Committee and then public consultation will take place. Keep an eye on the council’s Engage Barnet webpage in April and May (engage.barnet.gov.uk) to take part in the consultations and provide your feedback, and look out for other ways to engage.
Where changes to the Tenancy Strategy will impact upon some existing Barnet Homes’ tenants, you will be written to directly about this as part of the consultation.
