We need the help of residents to tackle housing fraud.

The number of council homes in Barnet is limited. We want to make sure that everyone living in them has a right to be there.

Please contact us on 020 8359 2929 or email if you think a tenant is:

• keeping their council home but living elsewhere
• subletting their home to other people without permission
• falsely claiming succession rights to a council home
• claiming housing benefit to which they aren’t entitled

All information will be treated in the strictest confidence.

We will investigate and take appropriate legal action if there is evidence of fraud.

We will also carry out spot checks and data searches to detect tenancy fraud.
