The Barnet Group have recently launched an Online Balance Checks Portal accessible to Barnet Homes tenants and leaseholders. The portal enables resident to access priority services at a time convenient to them, without having to call or email us.

  • Checking your current rent or service charge account balances
  • Viewing previous account transactions
  • Querying your rent/ service charge account
  • Requesting rent or service charge statements
  • Requesting standing order payment details
  • Requesting refunds
  • Creating payment plans
  • Requesting benefits advice
  • Making a payment online
  • Download direct debit forms and filling in your details
  • Access to a free budget planner tool
  • Viewing payment arrangements
  • Viewing tenancy details
  • Requesting permissions related to your tenancy (e.g., permission for a pet)
  • Viewing information on mutual exchanges
  • Viewing information on giving notice to end a tenancy

Who can use the portal?

  • Current Barnet Homes secure tenants (primary or joint)
  • Current Barnet Homes leaseholders

Who cannot use the portal?

  • Household members who are not a primary or joint tenant
  • Residents living in temporary accommodation
  • Non-secure tenants
  • Previous tenants or leaseholders 

 How do I sign up to the portal?

  1. Visit https://my.thebarnetgroup.org/
  2. Click ‘Register a new account’
  3. Enter your email address, mobile number, tenancy reference/ service charge account number and date of birth in the relevant boxes
  4. Choose a password for your account
  5. Click ‘Submit’
  6. A verification code will then be sent to your email address (check your junk folder if you do not receive one). Please ensure that you manually type this verification code into the portal page within 10 minutes of receiving it
