The Big London Energy Switch (BLES) Barnet is a collective energy switching Scheme. Last June Barnet residents that switched with the scheme saved on average £284 on their annual energy bill.
The scheme works by a collective of households all signing up to the scheme, there is then a price drop competition amongst the energy companies, whoever drops their prices the lowest, wins, and an offer is sent out. There is no obligation to switch supplier, but if you wish to do so, it is easy and simple. The more people who sign up, the lower companies are likely to drop their prices.
