Barnet Homes’ Assist service offers an alarm and monitoring system which gives you 24-hour help and security at the touch of a button.
These are the other Assist services that can give you reassurance and peace of mind at home or at work.
Key safe
A key safe is a quick and easy way of keeping a spare door key in a secure but easily accessible place in case of emergency.
The small container is fixed next to your front door and has a combination lock.
The code can be shared with emergency services, Assist or home care staff, to prevent delays in reaching you.
Free fire safety checks
Assist and the London Fire Service offer free fire safety checks. If you live in the borough of Barnet, we will also fit you a smoke alarm free of charge.

Telecare service
The Telecare service offered by Assist involves a range of non-intrusive sensors which can monitor your health and your home environment 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The sensors will alert a carer or our response centre to a problem at any time of day or night.
Telecare also enables carers to take a break in the knowledge that the system is monitoring your welfare.
Lone worker monitoring
Our Assist lone worker monitoring service can provide security for people who work alone and face potentially risky situations.
It can also offer reassurance to employers of staff who work alone.
Our Assist service is easy and straightforward to use, allowing lone workers to be monitored by mobile phone.
In the event of an accident or dangerous incident, the Assist response centre will alert the emergency services.
