  • Look out for the energy-saving logo when you shop for new appliances like a washing machine or fridge.  ‘A’ rated appliances are the most efficient.
  • If you have a shower in your property, use it rather than filling the bath – it uses just a third of the water, therefore saving water as well as energy.
  • Don’t leave your TV and other electric appliances on stand-by – switch them off to save fuel.
  • Making a hot drink? Only boil the amount of water you need.
