Directors can be disqualified if they are in serious breach of their tenancy or lease terms.
This covers unpaid rent arrears, breaches of tenancy, unpaid service charges, breaches of lease. They can also be disqualified if they:

Cease to be a secure tenant or move to another geographical area within Barnet Homes

Become bankrupt or make any arrangement or composition with your creditors.

Become prohibited by law from being a Director of a company.

Are convicted of any criminal act or omission unless the Board determines otherwise.

Are the subject of a custodial sentence imposed by a court in the United Kingdom in respect of any criminal actor omission unless the Board determines otherwise.

Become incapable, by reason of mental disorder, illness or injury of managing and administering your property and affairs.

Resign from office by giving written notice to Barnet Homes.

Are removed by a resolution of the directors.

Following failure to follow the code of conduct of Barnet Homes

Any director who has previously been the subject of board disciplinary proceedings which have resulted in their being recommended for removal from the board will be disqualified from standing for office again unless the board votes in favour of them standing again.
