Vi Britchfield

Chair of the Board and leaseholders’ representative, Vi Britchfield, moved to the area in 1956. She first worked for the then Barnet District Council in the Treasurer’s Department. In 1965 she transferred to Education to be responsible for the administration of school meals. She later became responsible for the Personnel section for all non-teaching staff. Vi brings her huge experience of human resources to the board and is committed to seeing Barnet Homes attain three stars.

Ingrid Beal

Ingrid Beal has lived in Barnet for 27 years, and has been involved with residents’ associations for almost 15 years. Ingrid’s priorities are to ensure tenants' views are heard and that Barnet Homes reaches three stars. With a background in accountancy and bookkeeping, Ingrid hopes to ensure her understanding of issues from a tenant’s point of view helps the Board when discussing policy matters.


 

Kenny Bennett

Tenant director, Kenny Bennett, has lived in the borough of Barnet all of his life and in his present council home for 25 years.

Kenny was chair of the former Barnet Residents Organisation and has also been active in other community and resident involvement initiatives.

A keen footballer, Kenny has been active in youth football in the Barnet area and is involved in the Asian football league countrywide.

Kenny’s aspiration as a resident board director is to see residents at the forefront of service delivery and decision making.



Peter Brown

Tenants' representative Peter Brown has lived in the borough since 1969, living in his present home in Hendon for 31 years. Married 39 years, he and his wife have two offspring, an adult son and daughter. Peter has been a journalist and broadcaster for 44 years and feels his professional dealings with politicians and the legal profession helps greatly in his role on the Board.
