Barnet Homes

Our organisation

Barnet Homes was established in 2004 to manage and modernise homes and estates owned by Barnet Council. We are an Arms Length Management Organisation (ALMO), a non-profit making company owned by Barnet Council.

We are the social landlord for 15,000 households in the borough, including almost 4,000 leasehold properties.

Our Decent Homes programme brought all retained (non-regeneration) council properties up to the government's Decent Homes standard by the end of 2010-11. We will consult residents on how we can best invest further in council homes.

We aim to offer great services at great value, and we pride ourselves in placing residents at the heart of our services.

Barnet Homes is managed by a Board made up of our executive team, tenants, one leaseholder and independent directors with professional skills and experience to help run the services.
