We write further to our contact of 1st November 2024 regarding the water mains replacement. We have unfortunately been unable to complete the works by our originally advised date, this has been due to unforeseen circumstances that required additional works and specialist equipment. Our contractors remain working at the safest and most appropriate speed and will also work tomorrow, Saturday 9th November to further reduce delays. The contractors will ensure that works are carried out safely in a closed-off area.
We anticipate, barring any adverse weather conditions, that these works will now conclude by Saturday 16th November. We understand and apologise for the concerns and inconvenience this will cause but remain focused and committed to ensuring you are able to benefit from a resilient water supply.
