Dear residents,
We are writing to you to keep you informed about changes to your caretaking service over the last two weeks.
As you are no doubt aware, Barnet Council’s waste and recycling collections experienced problems in the weeks after Christmas.
Barnet Homes’ caretakers’ priorities are to keep your estates as clean and tidy as possible. Caretakers have been supporting Barnet Council in collecting waste and recycling over the last two weeks. This has meant that caretakers have not been able to clean blocks as often as we would have liked. We sincerely apologise for this reduction in the cleaning standards expected.
As of Monday 14 January 2019, all Barnet Homes caretakers have resumed their regular duties.
We would again like to apologise for the disruption to your caretaking service, and can assure you that our caretakers are working to make up for the interruption to your service.
Barnet Council will be collecting real Christmas trees between 6 January and 3 February 2019 if they are left out next to your bins on the correct collection day. If your waste and recycling collection has been missed, you can report it at barnet.gov.uk.
