On Wednesday 21 September, Barnet Homes’ Housing Needs officer Robert White attended the Central London Community Healthcare (CLHC) NHS Trust Awards.
It’s the 6th annual celebration of NHS staff and their partners who work across CLCH. The awards were held at Grade 2 listed Church House in Westminster and attended by more than 150 people, including Rob and Barnet Homes’ Housing Needs Manager Tariq Ahmed.
We are delighted to share the brilliant news that Robert won the CLCH Partner of the Year award.
These awards recognise and reward the efforts of both staff and external partners for the outstanding contributions they provide. Former graduate trainee Robert was actually nominated by the NHS family nurse who had been assigned to support three homeless teenage mothers, whom Rob helped into accommodation.
Robert faced some stiff competition in the CLHC NHS Partner of the Year category from Capita, Royal Free Foundation Trust and Let Them Talk Productions.
Tariq Ahmed, the Housing Needs Manager who attended the awards with Rob said: “Despite the competition I am delighted to announce that Rob was crowned the winner of the CLCH Partner of the Year! It was great to see Rob representing The Barnet Group and picking up the award. It is clear partnership working provides many benefits, including increased customer satisfaction and potential efficiencies – something Housing Options at Barnet Homes is committed to.”
