Housemark benchmarks and analyses data across the social housing sector to show how providers perform on both cost and quality of the services provided.

The 2014/15 results show that Barnet Homes has reduced costs dramatically while managing to increase customer satisfaction!

When measured against our peers, which consist of 18 other London Councils and ALMOs (Arms-Length Management Organisations), Barnet Homes rank number 1 in the capital for housing management costs, number 2 for estate management costs and number 2 for leasehold services costs. This is made truly impressive when combined with the top quartile tenant satisfaction of 81% achieved in 2014/15.

To add to this, Housemark trend data also shows that our housing management overhead costs have reduced by 46% in the 4 years since 2010/11.

Barnet Homes’ Repairs & Voids have also come out on top for providing value for money in that operation, with the number 1 ranking for the cost of delivering the Repairs and Voids service and top quartile customer satisfaction results with the services provided.
