We are delighted to share the news that BOOST (Burnt Oak Opportunity Support Team) has been given another year of funding.
This means support from the BOOST team is available for people claiming Job Seekers Allowance, Income Support or Employment Support Allowance but support is open to anyone living in Burnt Oak.
What’s special about BOOST is that the team can give local residents a wide range of support – all from Burnt Oak library. We’re also adding a Monday afternoon surgery with a Neighbourhood Housing Officer who can advise you on any questions you might have about your tenancy.
If you need advice about getting back into employment and developing new skills you don’t need an appointment, drop into BOOST anytime Monday-Friday from 9am – 5pm.
Since BOOST launched, 400 residents have signed up for support from the team and nearly 200 people have been helped back into work.
