On Thursday 18 December, Sheltered Housing resident Jane Gladding celebrated her 100th birthday with a tea party at Rectory Close.
Among the guests were Jane’s family and many of her friends including fellow Rectory Close residents.
The party celebrations took place in the Residents Communal Lounge at Rectory Close where Denise Head, Jane Loizides and Susan Blackburn did an excellent job of decorating and supplying finger food as well as a very special cake for Jane and her guests to enjoy.
Julie Riley, Director of Care and Support, The Barnet Group, attended and presented Jane with a beautiful bouquet of flowers to mark the occasion. She said: “Congratulations to Jane on her 100th birthday. It was a privilege to attend her party today at one of our Sheltered Schemes, where everyone was in the mood for a celebration.”
