On Tuesday 9 and Thursday 11 December, the Barnet Homes Christmas Choir sang at Trafalgar Square in support of Teens Unite Fighting Cancer.

Teens Unite Fighting Cancer is dedicated to improving the lives of teenagers and young people fighting cancer and other life limiting illnesses by helping them build on their self-confidence and self-esteem, and reduces feelings of isolation by sharing experiences of others facing similar challenges.

Although it was a rainy evening, the choir were in great spirits and dressed in festive hats, tinsel and lights. Under Lewis Anderson’s expert conducting skills, they sang songs such as Silent Night, The Holly and the Ivy and I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day.

The audience loved them and joined in under the Christmas tree, singing and clapping along!

As well as this, today they were busy singing in the boardroom and selling cakes to raise money.

We are very proud to announce that the support of the Barnet Homes Christmas Choir allowed Teens Unite to raise an amazing £200. A massive well done and thank you to them, for making it a great success!
